She EmpowHers is a tech-powered personal growth platform designed to help women transform from the inside out. Through guided learning paths, reflective practices, community, and coaching, we help women integrate growth into their real lives, not just consume content.
We are looking for a Curriculum Designer who can bring our in-app learning to life by translating learning goals into thoughtful, engaging, and emotionally resonant experiences. This role is about designing transformation, not producing content.
Our ideal candidate is fluent in both structured systems and human change. You understand how adults learn, how insight becomes behavior, and how pacing, language, and sequencing shape integration.
What you will do:
Build curriculum from existing learning goals and module briefs into clear, digestible learning experiences
Apply adult learning principles to scaffold insight, reflection, and light action. We call these activations
Write in a warm, conversational tone while maintaining clarity, intentionality, and depth
Design non-linear learning experiences for a custom mobile app. This is not a traditional course platform
Advise on sequencing, pacing, and modality selection across text, audio, video, and prompts
Translate soft-skill growth such as confidence, boundaries, and voice into grounded learning moments that feel real and actionable
Ideal Experience:
3 to 5+ years in curriculum development, instructional design, adult learning, or coaching-based content
Experience designing learning in life coaching, therapy-informed, or personal development contexts
Demonstrated understanding of transformational learning or behavior change models
Bonus experience writing for B2C wellness platforms, coaching programs, or mobile apps
Creative or design fluency is highly valued but not required

A completed curriculum brief for one learning path (3 modules, 10 activations per module)
Brand tone, examples, and access to the existing platform structure
Support and collaboration from the founder and instructional design
Project Scope
This initial contract will focus on one learning path consisting of 3 modules and approximately 30 lessons. This is a test engagement with the opportunity to continue on additional paths if successful..
Deliverables May Include:
Module outlines and learning objectives
Written activations or coaching prompts
Audio or video scripts for voiceover or talking head delivery
Lesson flows or content storyboards
Modality recommendations with rationale
Suggestions for supporting materials such as PDFs, reflection prompts, or resource links
