Summary
About She EmpowHers She EmpowHers is a psychologically informed personal growth platform for women navigating life transitions, rebuilding confidence, and becoming who they’re meant to be. We sit in the guided support layer between self-help and clinical care, combining structured learning, AI guidance, and community to help women create lasting change. We’re launching our beta in August 2026 and we’re looking for a part-time Community Manager to help us bring our community space, Circles, to life.
About the Role This is our first community hire. You won’t inherit a community, you’ll help build one! You’ll be the person who sets the tone, sparks the conversations, and makes sure every woman who walks into our Circles feels like she belongs there. This is not a moderation-only role — we need someone who understands how to build community culture from scratch and can create programming that keeps women coming back.
You’ll report directly to the Founder and CEO.
What You’ll Do
Content and Programming
Develop weekly Circle prompts, themes, and conversation starters aligned with the SEH growth paths
Plan and support community programming including AMAs, fireside chats, and milestone celebrations
Create a content calendar for Circles that drives consistent, meaningful engagement
Collaborate with the founder to align community content with the app’s psychological framework and brand voice
Help define what a great community looks like at She EmpowHers.
Experiment with engagement ideas and test new formats.
Recommend improvements based on member behavior and feedback.
Community Engagement and Activation
Seed and activate the community from day one of beta — no ghost towns
Welcome new members and model the tone and culture we want to build
Identify and nurture highly engaged members who could become community leaders over time
Monitor engagement patterns and share insights with the founder weekly
Moderation and Safety
Review flagged posts and comments in a timely manner
Help create a space where women feel safe to participate, share, and grow
Escalate anything that requires founder decision-making
What We’re Looking For
Experience building or managing online communities — you’ve done this before
Strong writing skills — warm, clear, culturally aware
Understanding of women’s wellness, personal growth, or mental health spaces preferred
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Reliable, responsive, and organized
Familiarity with community platforms and social tools
Available for daily check-ins on the community feed during beta (August 1 – September 1) and ongoing post-launch
Experience using community platforms such as Circle, Mighty Networks, Discord, Slack Communities, or similar. Comfort learning new platforms is more important than experience with any specific tool.
Success in 90 Days
Every new member receives a warm, timely welcome.
Circles feel active and engaging, not empty.
Weekly programming runs consistently.
Members begin recognizing and supporting one another.
Community insights are shared with the founder to improve the product and member experience.
Who we’re looking for You’re probably a great fit if people naturally trust you, you’re energized by bringing people together, and you’ve always been the person who remembers names, welcomes newcomers, and notices when someone quietly disappears.
Hours and Compensation This is a paid part-time contract role, approximately 10-15 hours per week. Please include your hourly rate or project rate when applying.
To Apply Send a brief note introducing yourself, your community management experience, and your rate expectation to hello@sheempowhers.com. We’d love to see examples of communities you’ve built or managed. Subject Line: Community Manager Application
